SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES

The evolution of mobile/wireless networking and computing technologies and their key role in future Internet scenarios offer an increasing wealth of opportunities for distributing a huge variety of contents to mobile users, enabling dissemination of professional and specialized content as well as user-generated content. As a part of HPCS conference, MCWN’2015 will target original work focusing on modeling, performance analysis, testbeds, and simulation results in the areas of mobile and wireless networks, mobile computing, applications and systems. MCWN’2015 is aiming to attract a large number of high-quality submissions and stimulate cutting-edge research discussions among many academic researchers/scientists and industrial engineers/leaders from all around the world.

The Symposium topics include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Mobile Cloud Computing for High-availability Computing

  • Mobility Models for Opportunistic Networks

  • Novel Architectures, Middleware Support, Prototypes and Testbeds

  • Resilient High Performance Mobile Computing and Wireless Nets

  • Middleware for High-performance Computing in Mobile Systems

  • Real-time Wireless systems’ simulation and Performance Analysis Using HPC

  • HPC Based Self-configurable Mobile and Wireless Networks

  • Large Scale Mobile Systems and Schemes for High-performance Computing

  • Reliable Mobile and Wireless Applications and Services and High-performance Computing

  • Mobile Urban Sensing and Crowdsensing

  • Mobile Social Networking

  • Context-aware Computing for High Performance Computing Systems

  • Content-centric Architectures, Content management and Distribution for Mobile Users

  • Resource Availability and Management for Mobile and Wireless High Performance Computing

  • Modeling and Simulation of Complex Mobile and Wireless Networks

  • System Prototypes, Measurements, Real Deployment, and Experiences

  • Security and Privacy issues for Wireless and Mobile Computing

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS:

You are invited to submit original and unpublished research works on above and other topics related to high performance mobile and wireless networks and systems. Submitted papers must not have been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. For Regular papers, please submit a PDF copy of your full manuscript, not to exceed 8 double-column IEEE formatted pages, and include up to 6 keywords and an abstract of no more than 400 words. Additional pages will be charged additional fee. Submission should include a cover page with authors' names, affiliation addresses, fax numbers, phone numbers, and all authors email addresses. Please, indicate clearly the corresponding author(s). Short papers (up to 4 pages), poster papers and poster (please refer to http://hpcs2015.cisedu.info/home/cts-2015-posters for posters submission details) will also be accepted. Please specify the type of submission you have. Please include page numbers on all preliminary submissions to make it easier for reviewers to provide helpful comments.

Submit a PDF copy of your full manuscript to the symposium paper submission site at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mcwn2015. Acknowledgement will be sent within 48 hours of submission. If the submission is for a poster paper or short paper, indicate that as well on the manuscript and in the form's Notes field.

Only PDF submitted files will be accepted, uploaded to the symposium's link above. Each paper will receive a minimum of three reviews. Papers will be selected based on their originality, relevance, significance, technical clarity and presentation. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper, if accepted. At least one of the authors of each accepted paper will have to register and attend the HPCS 2015 conference to present the paper at the symposium.

Proceedings

Accepted papers will be published in the Conference proceedings. Instructions for final manuscript format and requirements will be posted on the HPCS 2015 Conference web site. It is our intent to have the proceedings formally published in hard and soft copies and be available at the time of the conference. The proceedings is projected to be included in the IEEE Digital Library and indexed in all major indexing services accordingly.

If you have any questions about paper submission or the symposium, please contact the symposium organizers.
